My dentist is out of town!
The ONE TIME I need him. Honestly, this is the only time I’ve ever had to schedule an “emergency” appointment and the whole office is out of town at a conference.
Which, knowing them, is code for “on vacation.” My dentist takes all the hygienists out once or twice a year, to places like Vegas or the Bahamas. Yeah.

sorry for posting about my health all the time
I swear I’m not a hypochondriac or anything
it’s just that, in my family, we don’t act or feel very sick when we actually are very sick, and we have a ridiculous pain tolerance. We break bones without knowing it, and it takes exploding appendices and persistent pneumonia to finally send us to the doctor.
