I got the job! Ten hours a week cleaning the studio, mixing clay and glazes, helping fire the kilns. Huzzah! I start on Tuesday. Officially I am a “Ceramics Studio Assistant”.
The first bit of work I’ve been able to get in nearly nine months. I get to learn about running a ceramics studio and it’ll look good on my resume for grad school. God is good to me

As of today, I am officially on art department payroll! Managed to even get an hour of work in cleaning out lockers and clearing shelves in the studio between classes this afternoon. :D
